ACT!

We are collaborating with Global Focus in the design of an online platform for promoting climate change action. Users can share their ideas, discuss, start projects based on the ideas, and collaborate online for drive those projects. One person can not do so much to solve the climate crisis, but many together can, ACT wants to harness this power of collaboration.

Some of our research questions in this project are:

How do you persuade people to come together and act in a “tragedy of the commons” problem as climate change?

Which kind of trust mechanism are needed to provide a reciprocity response in this type of climate persuasive services?

Web design credibility and trust principles analysis for persuasive services.

Create a use-case to obtain quantitative data and study the interplay of social principles as normative influence, competition, cooperation, for climate change persuasion.
