Greger Henriksson, part of the Persuasive Services research team,
has published his interdisciplinary doctoral thesis about travel behavior in Stockholm. It shows how travel patterns depend on how the
city is planned and how the travel possibilities are organized.
Individuals are dependent of this given external conditions , the
social dimensions of how the people is supposed to travel in a given
context, and their personal situation.

This work is important for Persuasive Services as a theoretical
ground on if it’s possible to change people (travel) behavior towards
more sustainable options and how to do this using information and media
technologies.
